After and ACCESS to teacher training college course, where next?
I want to teach at secondary school level, and am not sure whether it would be best to do the access to teacher training course, or access to humanities. Any advice would be great, thanks.
This is entirely a personal prejudice but I think most teacher training is a waste of time. Private schools don’t require it. You might need some but the main thing is to become a genuine expert on the subject you will teach. You will then have self-respect and in time command respect from students. As for running a class, I always think that taking a course in public speaking is the best prep.
