what does the x and o means when learning guitar chords?
and do you strum all the strings when you play each chords or what im learning but dont know?
please explain if we dont play x strings and we play o but they are not next together so we jump to string?
0 means that you do not put any fingers down on the string, and play it open. X means you mute the string with part of your hand, to avoid any sound coming out.
You don’t strum all the strings when playing a chord unless the chord spans all six strings. You may only need to pick 5 strings, or less. With practice, you’ll soon be very accurate at strumming only which strings you want to strum.
